Our Story

I wanted to build the opposite.

My name is Amy.

I spent fifteen years working in fashion as a buyer, sourcing collections across the world. Fabric markets in China. Buying trips to manufacturers across Europe and Asia and presenting collections. I knew the fashion industry from the inside.

Then I had my daughter. And I started to look at everything differently.

I had spent my career helping brands move product faster, cheaper, and in greater volume. After becoming a mother I wanted to build the opposite.

A small edit. A considered one. Pieces made from the right fabrics, by brands with genuine values, that would last years not seasons.

EcoTwenty is that edit.

Every piece passes four questions before it earns its place here:

Does the fabric meet the standard?
Are the seams clean inside and out?
Can the brand tell me exactly where this was made?
Would I wear it myself?

Most pieces fail. The ones that pass are on the site.
